Sadie Saves

“Hi everyone, it’s me Sadie, and you know what today is if you are a regular follower on my blog – it’s the day I help get the word out about my animal friends who are hoping to be adopted.  On Mother’s Day, May 10, 2015 I featured my sweet friend Bronwyn who is still waiting to find a place to call home. Bronwyn, is  a 2 1/2 year old female boxer mix. She is heartworm positive so is currently undergoing treatment. Bronwyn would prefer ruling the roost with no fellow canines to challenge her role as Queen. She is a sweet friendly girl with lots of energy and love to give! She would do best in a home with no children as they can make her nervous. Currently, Bronwyn is available for adoption through the Second Chance Animal Shelter in East Brookfield, Massachusetts. Please share her picture and story with your family, friends and social networks. Together I’m sure we will find her a ‘forever family.’ I thank you for your help.  Love, Sadie”

Dog Handler

“Hi, it’s me Sadie here!  Who says classical music has gone to the dogs?

Once in awhile something unusual happens during a live classical music performance that patrons will talk about for years to come. It might be an exceptionally fine interpretation of a classical standard, which causes the audience to rise to their feet in astonished devotion. Then again, it could be something totally different and not ever witnessed before – such is the latter in this case. On Sunday, June 14, 2009, the Hampshire Choral Society, whose mission is, ‘to create beautiful music, and to have fun doing it,' certainly made good on their goal! The society was giving a lovely performance of Handel’s Messiah, (one of my favorites) when an unexpected visitor entered stage left, and was deftly dispatched elsewhere by Ms. Anita Anderson Cooper, and with very good humor (I must say) by conductor Allan Taylor.

You will not believe your eyes! This is a first that will make you smile!  Love, Sadie”’

“Hi everyone, it’s me Sadie, wishing you a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY and HAPPY SUNDAY!! As you know, today is the day of the week that I dedicate to helping find adoptive families for my animal friends. Sadie Saves

“Hi everyone, it’s me Sadie, and it’s that time of the week again, when I ask you to help me find a good home for my animal friends who are seeking adoption. Edith Wharton, the Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist once said, ‘My little dog — a heartbeat at my feet,’ and that perfectly describes my newest senior friend a Spaniel, American Cocker/Mix named Sam.  He’s currently staying at the Second ChanceAnimal Shelter, East Brookfield, Massachusetts. Please help me find him a ‘forever home’ by sharing his picture and story with family, friends and your social networks. His animal ID number is 24972957 and his story (in his own words) is below. I thank you, and wish you a splendid Sunday! :)  Love, Sadie “

“Sam says,Hi, how are you? I'm a sweet little guy named Sam. I get very excited when I know I'm about to go for a walk. I'm very affectionate and I just love everyone. I am currently looking for a best friend. Could you be it? Stop by the shelter today. I cant wait to meet you. I'm an older boy at 10 years old but I've still got lots of energy and love to give!”’
