Sadie Saves

"Voltaire  once  wrote  'With  great  power  comes  great  responsibility.'  Emma  read  Voltaire  to  me  once  while  she  was  doing  a  homework  assignment.   She  got  a  B  in  the  class  but  the  lesson  stuck  with  me.   I  see  so  many  animals  in  need  of  care  and  I  want  to  show  my  sense  of  responsibility  for  a  great  cause  -  finding  homes  for  needy  animals.

Meet  Bunny.  She's  currently  in  a  foster  home  through  the  Tallahassee, Florida Animal Services Center.

I  had  a  chance  to  meet  and  play  with  her  and  wanted  to  share  her  with  you. 

 

Bunny  is  a  black  and  tan  neutered  female.  She's  a  little  over  three  human  years  in  age,  is  very  energetic  and  loves  people.  Her  will  to  bond  to  a  person  is  extremely  strong  and  she's  not  afraid  to  declare  her  devotion.  She's  a  good  pack  member  and  follows  the  typical  human  house  rules  pretty  well.

Please  demonstrate  your  own  sense  of  great  responsibility  and  adopt  Bunny  or  an  animal  in  your  local  area  that  is  in  need.

“Hi,  it’s  me  Sadie!   It  occurred  to  me  recently  that  I’ve  been  translating  the  speech  of  so  many  of  my  animal  friends  and  have  neglected  to  offer  you  some  thought  provoking  words  of  wisdom.   Well,  here  goes,  a  quotation  from  ~  James  Thurber,  who  was  born  on  this  day  120  years  ago.   ‘The  dog  has  got  more  fun  out  of  Man  than  Man  has  got  out  of  the  dog,  for  the  clearly  demonstrable  reason  that  Man  is  the  more  laughable  of  the  two  animals.’   (Definitely  something  to  think  about!)   If  you  watch  the  video  below from Roadshow  Films  YouTube  Channel  it  proves  Mr.  Thurber’s  point,  and  also  explains  why  making  movies  with  animal  actors  costs  so  much  money!  (I  guess  we  canines  get  the  last  laugh!)   :-)   Love,  Sadie”’
